The "Pink Skittle" is used in Acuity Logic to determine if a contact lens order has been placed automatically through CLX to ABB. When an order is placed on Acuity and the skittle has not populated within an hour, a workflow has caused Acuity to hold this order form being placed.
Order Creation and Invoicing
RX Supplier:
If the RX Supplier is set to "None" the order will not be sent to CLX
Order Summary Tab:
- Under the order summary tab check the Supply source, Parts to Supply
Supply Source: Should be “Contact Lens Supplier (Auto)” - Parts to Supply: Right and Left Lens should be checked to send to CLX
- NOTE: If one eye is uncheck and one eye is checked, only the eye with the checked box will be ordered
Lens Acceptance
The only lenses currently able to Auto-Order from Acuity to ABB are from the 4 main manufacturers of soft contact lenses: Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Cooper Vision, and Johnson & Johnson
By following these steps, you should be able to address the issue and create an order with a “Pink Skittle”.
